Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)
Hailed as the most influential museum of modern art, MoMA houses modern and contemporary art from around the world and in all manner of media. It’s home to the works of some of the most recognizable names in art, such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, Matisse and Gauguin.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met)
The largest museum in the United States and one of the most visited museums in the world, The Met is two million square feet of masterpieces from all over the world and spans hundreds of years of human history. If you’re an art fan, you may want to take it in over several days – and even that might not be enough time to see everything.
If musical theatre is your thing, prepare for sensory overload. Featuring 40 professional theatres, each with more than 500 seats and showing all manner of dramatic performance, Broadway has the best and highest-profile shows of the season. Get your tickets early, as many shows will sell out.
Radio City Music Hall
Originally a stage for variety shows, and then film screenings, Radio City Music Hall has been hosting the hottest pop and rock music performers for the past 30 years. If you can’t make it to a show during your stay, you can still take a tour and soak up all the history.
Madison Square Garden

Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre
A premier name in improve comedy, the Upright Citizens Brigade gained notoriety after a number of its former members made their way into TV and film. Their headline show ASSSSCAT is always hysterical and occasionally features celebrity guest members.
